New SAFI President: Dr. Giulia Battistoni

We are excited to announce that Dr. Giulia Battistoni has taken on the role of President of SAFI. Giulia has been a key member of SAFI, editing multiple volumes for SAFI and organizing the 2022 SAFI annual conference in Verona. Most recently, she organized a SAFI roundtable at the World Congress of Philosophy in Rome. She is stepping in for Claudia Wirsing, who is currently focusing on her research. We look forward to working with Giulia and her continued contributions to SAFI!

About Dr. Giulia Battistoni:

Dr. Giulia Battistoni is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Post-Doctoral Global Fellow at the University of Verona (Italy), Boston University (USA), and the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Germany). At the University of Verona she serves as a teaching assistant, help desk coordinator, and member of the research center “Ricerche di Gnoseologia e Metafisica.” Her current research focuses on “Collective Responsibility Towards Nature and Future Generations.” Dr. Battistoni has furthered her academic experience through professional courses with certificates at Harvard University and MIT. She has been an invited speaker at over 70 conferences and is the author of one book and approximately 40 articles in various languages.
