We are delighted to announce that Dr. Andrea Pérez Fernández is joining SAFI as an ambassador. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona, where she defended her dissertation “Art and Politics in Hannah Höch: Dadaism, Socialism, and Women’s Emancipation during the Weimar Republic” in 2023.
With a background in Journalism (UPF, 2017) and a master’s degree in Citizenship and Human Rights: Ethics and Politics with a specialization in Political Philosophy (UB, 2019), Dr. Pérez Fernández brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to SAFI. Her expertise spans political philosophy, aesthetics, and feminist theory, with a strong commitment to exploring the intersections of art, politics, and social justice.
Beyond academia, she has also pursued training in theater and dubbing, reflecting her dedication to both intellectual and artistic expression. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to her contributions!
