I am a PhD candidate at the University of Barcelona, researching the impact of brain-computer interfaces and other neurotechnologies integrated with artificial intelligence on human autonomy and their profound implications for the legal field. My first encounter with SAFI was when I applied to speak at a conference they organized. I discovered they offered special support for mothers in science, enabling them to attend the event. As a mother of a baby, this initiative moved me deeply. Inspired by their progressive vision, I explored more about SAFI and was captivated by their work. With pride and commitment, I join SAFI as an ambassador to empower and support women in legal academia.
